Pretties는 Linda Meltzer가 런칭한 캘리포니아 베이스의 브랜드입니다. 모든 제품은 로스앤젤레스 다운타운의 예술 지구(Arts District)에서 데드 스탁 원단이나 빈티지 원단을 이용해 정성스럽게 제작됩니다.

Linda Meltzer는 1970년대부터 어린이용 프렌치 컷 티셔츠를 찾기 위해 빈티지 가게나 벼룩 시장을 샅샅이 뒤지곤 했습니다.

그녀는 1990년대 초, 뮤직비디오와 영화의 작업을 하는 스타일리스트였고 작은 사이즈의 베이비 티셔츠를 너무나도 사랑해 곧

자신만의 티셔츠를 만들기 시작했습니다. 1993년, 바로 Pretties의 전신인 Tease Tee’s 라는 브랜드의 탄생이였습니다.

그녀의 티셔츠는 다양한 배우, 모델, 아티스트들에게 사랑받았고 2016년, Pretties로 브랜드 이름을 변경하면서

브랜드의 시그니처인 베이비 티셔츠를 비롯해 브라렛, 캐미솔, 속옷 등으로 라인을 확장했습니다.

현재까지도 브랜드의 제품들은 90년대 향수를 그리워하는 고객들의 많은 사랑을 받고있습니다.

앞면은 핸드메이드 자수 아플리케와 100% 코튼 패브릭이 사용되었으며, 뒷면은 스트레치 코튼 원단이 사용되었습니다.

Hand made in Los Angeles.

The labor intensive hand stitched Madeira appliqués was produced in great quantities from the 1860s until the 1970s. In the 70s most production moved to China when labor was very very very inexpensive. By the early 2000s the labor in China prices started climbing and this product was no longer made. In 2019 my heart skipped a beat when I found some old dusty boxes filled with this treasure.…
